What is the oil capacity?
Rebel 250:
- 1.6 quarts (as per owner's manual)
Rebel 450:
According to the official Honda Service Manual, the oil capacity is as follows: (thanks, Paul!)
- 3.0 liters (3.2 US qt, 2.6 Imp qt) after disassembly
- 2.2 liters (2.3 US qt, 1.9 Imp qt) after draining

Hi, here's what the Honda Service Manual for the CMX450 says on the specifications page:
Oil capacity
2.2 liters (2.3 US qt, 1.9 Imp qt) After draining
3.0 liters (3.2 US qt, 2.6 Imp qt) After disassembly
Viscosity: Recomended SAE 10W-40
Other viscosities can be used for different temperture ranges:
0C (32F) to much greater than 40C (110F)
SAE 20W-50
0C (32F) to about 40C (110F)
SAE 20W-40
-15C (5F) to about 40C (110F)
SAE 10W-40
-15C (5F) to about 32C (90F)
SAE 10W-30
